A competitor in our local garage door market, Big Hands Brown Handyman Services, Big Hands Brown Construction & Garage Door, and Big Hands Brown Garage Door Supply, has repeatedly changed their name on Google. Their website, <bighandbrownconstructiongaragedoors.com> and <bighandsbrownconstruction.com> (now closed), has been central to this dubious practice. The owner of the company, Collin Brown has now changed the website’s name from “Big Hands Brown Handyman & Garage Door” to “Big Hands Brown Garage Door Supply” to “Unique Garage Door Supply” in what appears to be an attempt at disguising itself as several different businesses. If you look at the URL below, you can see that the domain name is inconsistent with the name displayed on the website, which is now “Unique Garage Door Supply.”

What’s the goal of this constant name-shifting? It appears to be an attempt to confuse customers and steal business from local, trustworthy garage door companies like ours. As you can see here, the old Big Hands Brown website domain <bighandsbrownconstruction.com>has expired:

I’m pretty sure the old website wasn’t cheap, so for them to throw it away raises some pretty big red flags, in my opinion.
